Copperhood Retreat and Spa Review

The Copperhood Retreat and Spa is located in the hills of Shandaken, New York.  This is a great spa to take some time, relax, and enjoy a lot of great outdoor activities like hiking, yoga, and biking excursions.  The Copporhood Retreat and Spa is located in the Catskill state park preserve, so there is a lot of nature to be seen when you are there, the facility even overlooks the Esopus Creek so you can watch the deer run by as you stand on the deck.

There are great amenties that have incredible views of the mountains, and the grounds are full of all kinds of facilities.  There are indoor classes with a lap pool and a full gym.  There are also great meals that are light but taste great.  All of the foods that are made feature the local grown foods and some even include stuff grown in the wild.  You will find steam chambers, yoga and exercise room, and a sauna on grounds to name a few.  There are also all kinds of great speicality activities like meditation, skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and much more.

They have all kinds of different packages including Detox stays; Get in Shape Plans, and a long 21 night stay to help you break any bad habits.  The prices for their classic spa plans run about $800 for two nights, $1800 for 5 nights, and $2450 for a week.  The specialty packages have different prices and include different items in that particular package based on what you choose.
